The Narrative

It was just one of these weekends. My buddy Norman and me were sitting on the terrace thinking about what to do with this day. It was another example of the classical dilema of our generation. We work the whole week looking forward to the weekend and when its finally there we have no idea what to do with it.

Despite our temporary inability to come up with a plan for the next two hours, we were siting down and thought about places to go for holiday. Agreeing on a country to visit was easier then I thought.
For many years it has been my dream to visit Isreal. The holy land between the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea, between Europa and Asia, between past past and today, between war and peace and between McDonalds and Humus. Fair enough, most of you would say. No big deal at all. We will just be two out 3,45 million tourists visting the country every year.

But then again, how often have you done a trip  for the statistics? No, the idea behind this blog is the free flow of thoughts and ideas regarding this trip, the planing, the country and its people. And after all the hope to get my head free after another random day at work.

If this blog will be continued in German or English is a question I can't answer, but I guess time will.
